Arista Software Defined Enterprise WAN

While software defined WAN offers a huge promise to enterprise customers in terms of cost savings and optimizing application performance across various parts of the customer network (branch, campus, DC), the underlying technologies are often based on proprietary implementations and not interoperable with the rest of the network and have a different operations model compared to DC and Campus. Arista is taking a unique approach of building a software defined WAN that is open standards and provides the same operational model as customers are accustomed to with Arista EOS and Cloudvision in campus and data center networks. Arista WAN routing platforms operate in both a classic and stand-alone routing model, or in a more ‘SD-WAN’ model with CloudVision® Pathfinder Service, providing support for a wide range of WAN use cases. In this webinar, we will discuss the following topics within Arista software defined Enterprise WAN.

Agenda:

Application Identification: identify and classify applications into virtual topologies which are then automatically traffic engineered.

Adaptive Overlays: Adaptive Virtual Topology with traffic engineering, application awareness, IPsec AutoVPN cryptography, and self-healing.

Dynamic Path Selection and Path Computation: self-healing and traffic engineering for edge, aggregation, and core.

In addition to that, we will share how Arista Enterrpsie WAN can also be leveraged for stand-alone routing use cases.

Speakers:

  • Fan Yang, Product Manager Arista WAN Solutions
  • Salman Zahid, Senior Manager Systems Engineering
  • Keith Huynh, Senior Systems Engineer
